Celebrities and Corporate Sponsors join Kennedy Family at 18th Annual RFK Memorial Golf Tournament
Ethel Kennedy tees it up with Actors Bill Murray, Scott Wolf, Matt McCoy, and Gloria Reuben, Sports Stars Bobby Orr, Jim Lonborg, and Bill Russell and international supporters on October 12th in Hyannis Port to benefit the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial

Hyannis Port, MA –Over 120 gofers and supporters will join the Kennedy family and friends at the Hyannisport Club this Friday, October 12th to raise funds for the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial. Among the distinguished list of golfers joining Ethel Kennedy will be celebrities Bill Murray, Matt McCoy, Bill Russell, Jim Lonborg, Joe Scarborough, Rafer Johnson, Scott Wolf, Bobby Orr, Gloria Reuben, John Seigenthaler Jr. and Mike Richter. Players will tee off at 10am at the picturesque waterfront course enjoyed by President Kennedy and Robert Kennedy.
All funds raised will go to help the efforts of the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial. Based in Washington, DC, RFK Memorial is dedicated to advancing the human rights movement through providing innovative support to courageous human rights defenders in 22 countries around the world. RFK Memorial support investigative journalists and authors who bring light to injustice and encourage the human rights movement through the RFK Book and Journalism Awards. Through Speak Truth to Power, an acclaimed play, and series of multimedia presentations based on the acclaimed book by Kerry Kennedy, RFK Memorial educates the public on the value of the human rights and the courage of its defenders.
The annual event typically raises more than $500,000 and attracts golfers from Massachusetts, New York, Washington, DC, Chicago, Los Angeles, Ireland, Germany, Italy and Japan.
Environmentalist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and human rights activist Kerry Kennedy will be the featured speakers at the gala following play.
Mrs. Robert F. Kennedy will host the tournament and dinner dance at her home. Sponsors include Frank Crystal & Company, American International Group, Inc., NIKE, VOLVO, Coca-Cola, American Airlines and Waterford Crystal.
